Sheep Association Schwendau - Mister & Miss Zillertal

The Gauder Festival attracts not only celebrities from home and abroad and connoisseurs of fine food, but also lovers and breeders of domestic "Woolsuppliers. The sheepbreeder club Finkenberg inivted to elect Miss and Mister Zillertal out of 300 Tyrolean mountain sheep.
.
On the Saturday of the Gauderfest the exhibition "White Mountain Sheep" took place, presenting the most beautiful Tyrolean mountain sheep from the Zillertal.

The highlight was the Miss and Mister Zillertal election. No easy task for the jury, after all, 300 sheep from 55 participants in 14 categories were to be assessed. But in the end the overall winner couples were chosen: Miss Zillertal (Miss Gauder) went to Martin Fankhauser (Stiegenhauser) and the male equivalent Mister Zillertal went to Franz Hauser (Harpfner) - both from Schwendau. The Tyrolean mountain sheep show was a resounding success, thanks to the chairman of the Sheep farming association Finkenberg Max Brugger and pedigree leader Konrad Guter.
