
With a hay bath in south Tirol,
during a family holiday was the start of an idea; If hay improves
the body to a higher level on the outside, a treatment with a hay
for the inside of the body can't be bad either.
And that's why Martin
"Stiegenhauser" Fankhauser from Schwendau tuned this idea
for almost a year, to combine the taste and the "effect" of hay from
the Zillertal Alps and let it come back in one of his superior
brandies. Many different hay sorts from the valley and from the alm
were tested, before finally the best base product was found: The
still with scythe mown hay, with all his flowers and herbs directly
from Franz his distillery cabin in Ginzling, offers the best quality
basis to melt, together with riped apples from Austria, into an
uncomparable harmonic taste
"For many people the brandy helps as a preventive measure against
hayfever", grins
Martin Fankhauser at the question which "effects" the branded
"Original Zillertaler Mountain Hay Brandy" actually has. " And
when the Hay Brandy is drunk with measure, it works not only
aphrodising, but makes man and women feel sexy. How it works? The
best is, you try it yourselves and find out", he adds with a
mischievous smile on his face.
